Why Fat Weight Loss Diets Are NOT The Way To Lose Weight

So your toying with the idea of going on a fast weight loss diet? Everyone of us have felt this way at some time or another its just the way we assume things need to be done. Maybe you have been carrying few extra pounds which has lingered for while but now you have you decided you want to work off the weight fast so you can squeeze in that pair of pants your boyfriend or husband said you looked so hot in last year. Whatever the reason, losing weight fast diet methods can often be hard

It's often the case that you will find yourself dealing with a very restrictive diet that is difficult to stick to, or other methods that just don't work for you. You can avoid much of this, however, by making some simple lifestyle changes that incorporate more healthy activities into your daily routine.

Whilst it might be desirable to try and lose weight very fast it is usually a very bad way of losing weight and keeping it off. Rapid weight loss by fast weight loss diets is probably the biggest reason for Yo-Yo dieting.

I you are determind to try and lose weight very fast be prepared for the fact that this will involve a very restrictive change in diet and will be very hard to sustain for anything more than a few days.

I have always found with clients that a slower method of weight loss is much more effective and wil give you a good chance of keeping the weight off for a prolonged period.

Commonly people just don't manage on the very restrictive regimen of a fast weight loss diet and exercise routine. They find it won't work in their daily routine and end up quitting very easily.

The easiest way of adding exercise in your daily routine is to try and combine it naturally in your day to day activities. This might mean you ride your bike to work if possible or you may be park your car at another car park and walk the extra distance.

If you decide to walk to work or bike or what ever method you decide you will help your purse, your body and the environment which is not bad is it? Look at other litte changes you can make such as walking up stairs instead of using the elevator or taking a stroll round the park or mall during your lunch break instead of sitting at your desk. These might only be very minor changes on the face of it but can go a long way to helping you lose weight.

If you are a bit more energetic why not try playing some sport or other activity or even just go walking for half an hour after work and then when you get home treat yourself to a relaxing shower or bath if your schedule allows.

It's always better to exercise doing activities you enjoy and don't find a chore like most people (women especially) do with a gym work out. Try joining a group activity such as an aerobics class, swimming, spinning,step class or a whole host of other fun activities. My good friend Tanya loves her salsa class and she keeps in great shape with it.

Changes to your life style are not that hard to make and you should find they will be much more effective longer term than a fast weight loss diet which you will not enjoy and quit very easily.
